Trump Says Amazon Pays Little Or No Taxes To State And Local Governments?

Where is the President Of The United States getting this rhetoric that they aren't paying any taxes? If you look on their own corporate public financial documents, you can see they paid 1.4 billion in 2016, and 769 million in 2017.

This is off an operating income of approximately 4 billion, which is the income after all expenses except minor expenses, interest expenses, and taxes. You don't pay taxes on revenue, you pay it on actual gains/profits after those things. 1.4 billion is 2016 is a large tax burden.

It looks like the main person to blame for their tax savings in 2017 and 2018 is Trump due to his corporate income tax cuts. Where is he getting this nonsense though, that they pay "very little" in taxes?

Ironically, the Trump/Republican tax plan will save Amazon hunderds of millions of dollars over the coming years.  The other question is, how much is Trump paying in taxes?
